Fotis Begetis was born at Iraklion, Crete in 1974. He now lives in Athens, Greece. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts from where he graduated in 2002. He has been working as an educator for the past 17 years in secondary public education. His own artistic pursuits focus on all things digital and he takes a huge interest in areas like mathematics, graphics, video games, L-systems, Artificial Life, and A.I.He also avidly studies the Great Masters of Western Painting.

Shattered Memory.
In this project I would like to explore ways of reperesenting memories in an interactive way, the memories of an individual or a whole culture or of a time period like the 1980s or the 1990s and the significance that those memories hold for the present moment in revealing the truth, the true state of the individual or time era,or his time era.I feel the appropriate form to do this would be in the form of a computer game called "Shattered memory"
